The SIA Société des Ingénieurs de l’Automobile places its trust in RoCamRoll once again. After the SIA POWER TRAIN congress in Rouen in June 2022, the SIA once again called on RoCamRoll for its SIA VISION-2022 congress at the Palais des Congrès de la Villette. RoCamRoll leveraged its artificial intelligence to facilitate the capture and production of the event.
Seeing better, being seen better or being informed: vehicle “vision” benefits from the latest technologies to make us safer
RoCamRoll filmed all the conferences on the theme of vision for vehicles. Today, vision exists through vehicle headlights. Each automaker tries to put its own identity into the shapes and lights to make its mark. But vision also materializes through the information provided to people in the car, thanks to upward-looking information technologies. When viewed from above, information is displayed directly on the windshield, so that it can be read directly by the driver. Finally, we discovered a new use for vision for people outside the vehicle. New solutions alert people outside the vehicle (on bikes or on foot) to a change of direction or any other hazard. All in all, a great discovery of the progress to come to see even more clearly in the world of various forms of mobility!

Capturing people at the lectern with AI artificial intelligence
We implemented our latest technological developments during the congress. We placed four cameras in the auditorium. We also use our media capture device to capture at source. In this way, Powerpoint presentations and videos are integrated live into the film. RoCamRoll’s artificial intelligence detects people, frames them and makes shot changes on its own. With numerous presentations at the lectern, RoCamRoll’s AI was particularly effective in producing our video sequences. It filmed people and speaker changes of different sizes, framing and cropping them. She also alternated the various shots to maintain dynamics and a variety of viewpoints.
Over 60 video sequences delivered in … a few minutes
At the end of each theme, the videos generated, cut and dressed in just a few minutes, are made available to the customer. They can then be instantly exploited and replayed by participants.
